Vallejo is located about 30 miles from San Francisco, which can be accessed from nearby I-80, as well as the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, just across the water from campus, with two different stops in San Francisco. World class dining, music, art, culture and sports all await.

Oakland

A bit closer to campus, I-80 takes students to Oakland and nearby Berkeley. Here you can find cultural fairs of every sort, hidden gem museums, and well-known attractions like Jack London Square, Lake Merritt, the Oakland Zoo and Redwoods Regional Park.

Just 30 minutes north of campus, the scenic Napa and Sonoma valleys unfold, home to some of the most famous wineries in the world. Take time to explore the quaint towns of Yountville, Calistoga, Rutherford, St. Helena and many others. A few miles to the east, the picturesque Suisun Valley is a hidden gem in the world of wine country.

If you need to get your adrenaline flowing, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is a five minute drive from campus and home to roller coasters and animal adventures and special themed events throughout the year.

Six Flags has a second park, Great America, located just over an hour away in Santa Clara, as well.

Vallejo and neighboring Benicia are home to some highly-rated hiking trails, but for those seeking ocean vistas with their adventures, Point Reyes National Seashore and Golden Gate National Recreation Area are just an hour away.
