The Omega Alpha Chapter of Sigma hosted its Fall Mixer on the Touro University California campus on Oct. 26, drawing several School of Nursing Alumni, program faculty members and current students to the Farragut Inn Ballroom for networking and a poster presentation.

Alumni from the College of Pharmacy are taking every chance available to come together to network and reminisce, joining three times across three months at points both near and far from the Touro University California campus.

The Vallejo community came together Nov. 10 at Touro University California to mark Veterans Day a day early, bringing community and campus leaders together with a message that was at once somber but also filled with hope for a brighter future.

Lisa Thomas is a member of the faculty for the MSPAS/MPH program at Touro University California and a 2017 graduate of the program. She currently serves as the program's Northern California Clinical Rotation Recruitment Coordinator.

Kaitlyn E. Riley is a Physician Assistant with the Solano County Family Health Services in Fairfield and a graduate of the dual Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies/Master of Public Health program at Touro University California (Class of 2022). She took part in a question-and-answer exchange with Dr. Joy Moverley, director of the program here at Touro.

Pilar Page joined Touro University California in July 2023 as the Director of Student Services for the College of Pharmacy. She works in collaboration with key personnel to support the success of the program's students.

Dr. Shadi Doroudgar is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and the Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management at Touro University California College of Pharmacy. She teaches Touro University California pharmacy students in the didactic portion of the curriculum and during Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences.

Dr. Danielle Tran graduated from the University of the Pacific with the Class of 1987. She is a Pharmacy Manager at Safeway in Walnut Creek. In addition to her role as a practicing pharmacist in her community, she is also the Experiential Education Coordinator for Safeway NorCal Division.

Dr. Joanna Cheung, MSc, RD, PharmD, BCNSP, CNSC, is currently an advanced clinical pharmacist specializing in nutrition support at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford.

Dr. Michael Ellerby, PhD, is Chair and Professor of Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Touro University California's College of Pharmacy.
