Touro Professor Receives Female Leader Award
Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine professor Dr. Natalie Nevins has been honored by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) with its Outstanding Female Leader Award. Since 2012, ACOFP has honored female physicians who serve as role models, teachers, leaders and sources of inspiration for men and women alike.

Touro Offers Doctoral Program For Educators
The Doctor is in for TUC Graduate School of Education! At Touro University California, the answer is now a resounding yes. TUC’s Graduate School of Education recently announced it will begin offering a unique Doctoral-level degree beginning this summer. The new Ed.D. is being introduced as Leading Innovative Diverse Organizations or LIDO and the title encompasses the overall mission of the program.

Research Day 2022: Implementation Science
Touro University California’s 22nd annual Research Day will be hosted April 20 in a virtual format this year. The event is one of the most popular on campus and features research projects by students from each TUC program, including medicine, pharmacy, education, public health and more.

Dr. Coffman Selected To ACOSIC
Dr. David Coffman, Associate Professor at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine, was recently once again named to the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons Interdisciplinary Committee, a committee that serves to conduct a multidisciplinary approach to general surgical and surgical specialties exam preparation by deep-diving into the topics covered in the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS) and American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) General Surgery certification examinations.

Excitement During 2022 Match Day
VALLEJO — Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUCOM), Class of 2022 celebrated a successful national residency match today with students being matched to 17 different medical specialties ranging from primary care to osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine, emergency medicine, psychiatry, neurology, physiatry, anesthesiology, dermatology, and orthopedic surgery.

A partnership between Kaiser Permanente, Touro University California, Vallejo Unified School District and the Mentoring Center, KP-Touro PATHS, got a big boost in resources recently with a grant from Elevate Youth California totaling more than $600,000.
