Pharmacy Earns Continued Full Accreditation
ACPE Renewal Through 2030-2031 Highlights Two Decades of Pharmacy Education Excellence

Touro University California (TUC) proudly announces that the College of Pharmacy (COP) has received continued full accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), extending the program’s accredited status through the 2030-2031 academic year.
The ACPE is the national agency responsible for the accreditation of professional degree programs in pharmacy and providers of continuing pharmacy education. Accreditation ensures that programs meet rigorous standards and continuously improve to meet the evolving needs of the profession and the public.
The ACPE’s decision follows a comprehensive review process that evaluated the program’s curriculum, faculty, facilities, student services, and outcomes. Upon receiving this news, Dr. Tami Hendriksz, Campus Provost and CAO, with excitement stated, “This accreditation from ACPE through the 2030–2031 academic year is a powerful affirmation of the excellence, integrity, and innovation that define the College of Pharmacy at TUC. It reflects the commitment of our faculty, staff, and students to deliver a transformative pharmacy education rooted in service and evidence-based care. We are proud of this milestone and energized to continue shaping the next generation of pharmacy leaders.”
This continued full accreditation comes at a time of both reflection and renewal for the COP program. Having welcomed the first class in 2005, the TUC College of Pharmacy celebrates its 20th academic year in 2025–2026. This accreditation news celebrates two decades of academic excellence and community impact, while reinforcing the College’s commitment to preparing future pharmacy leaders.
Dr. Catherine Cone, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, looked toward the future of the COP program as she stepped into her new role as Dean as of July 1. “This recognition reflects years of innovation, strengthened support systems, and enhanced pharmacy education at Touro University California. It’s a celebration and a springboard for future growth, excellence, and service.” said Dr. Cone.
TUC’s College of Pharmacy has long been recognized for its innovative curriculum, commitment to interprofessional education, and strong community partnerships. The continued accreditation positions the College of Pharmacy to further expand its impact in healthcare and education over the next decade.
