Sharon Likely Sprague, DNP, RN, OCN

Biography

Dr. Likely Sprague received her BSN from the University of Delaware, MBA from San Francisco State, and DNP from the California State University, Northern California Consortium DNP. She is the Managing Director at Kaiser Permanente (KP) in the Central Valley with responsibilities for cancer accreditation, navigation and survivorship services and is an Oncology Certified Nurse. During her tenure with KP, she has developed extensive experience in healthcare leadership, including performance improvement, compliance, strategic planning, revenue cycle, and informatics. She has contributed to the opening of several KP hospitals and medical offices in the Central Valley and enjoys the opportunities and challenges in leading change efforts. Her doctoral project was focused on telehealth and cancer survivorship and continues to be a focus of her clinical research interest. Dr. Likely Sprague is married with three adult children and one new granddaughter. Her daughter is a recent BSN graduate and was the spark that began her path to “pay it forward” and is honored to be on TUC’s SON faculty developing transformational nursing leaders to serve our communities.
