Pharmacy Scholarships

Acceptance into professional school is the culmination of several years of hard work and study.

To recognize these efforts, the Touro California's College of Pharmacy offers several one-time and multi-year/renewable scholarships.

One-Time Scholarships

Early Submission Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: $2,500 or $1,000
  • Eligibility: Awarded those who submit their PharmCAS application by the required dates, are subsequently accepted and then deposit into the Class of 2028, entering Fall 2025.  $2,500 will be awarded to those who submit their PharmCAS application prior to November 1st.  $1,000 will be awarded to those who submit after November 1st but prior to January 1st.
  • Award Timeframe: The scholarship amount is evenly split and applied to the Fall and Spring terms of the first year.

Pharmily Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: $1,000
  • Eligibility: Awarded to all students who are accepted, deposit, and begin classes for the College of Pharmacy Class of 2028, Entering Fall 2025.
  • Award Timeframe: The scholarship amount is evenly split and applied to the Fall and Spring term of the first year.

Pharmacy Transitions Scholarship

  • Scholarship Amount: $2,000
  • Eligibility: Awarded to all students who are accepted, deposit, and begin classes for the College of Pharmacy Class of 2028, Entering Fall 2025.
  • Award Timeframe: This scholarship is awarded in October of the first year.

Multi-Year/Renewable Scholarships

Eligible students may be awarded either the Pharmacy Innovation Scholarship or the Presidential Scholarship, not both.

Pharmacy Innovation Scholarship

  • Amount: $3,500 each year for three years
  • Initial Eligibility: 15 Pharmacy Innovation Scholarships will be awarded to students in the Class of 2028 who have earned cumulative GPA's of 3.25 or better, as calculated by PharmCAS.  This scholarship will be awarded based on the date of the admissions interview.  In the event one or more eligible students share an interview date, the student with the higher cumulative GPA calculated by PharmCAS will be awarded.  Eligible students may only receive the Pharmacy Innovation Scholarship or the Presidential Scholarship; not both.
  • Continuing Eligibility: Must maintain annual College of Pharmacy cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.  If the annual cumulative GPA drops below 3.0, this scholarship will not be renewed.
  • Award Timeline: The first round of awards will be released on March 1st.  Up to available funding, additional awards will be released on May 1st, June 1st, and July 1st. During years for which eligibility has been achieved, the scholarship amount will be evenly split and applied to the Fall, Spring, and Summer (if applicable) terms.

Presidential Scholarship

  • Amount: $5,000 each year for three years
  • Initial Eligibility: 5 Presidential Scholarships will be awarded to students in the Class of 2028 who have earned cumulative GPA's of 3.75 or better, as calculated by PharmCAS.  This scholarship will be awarded based on the date of the admissions interview.  In the event one or more eligible students share an interview date, the student with the higher cumulative GPA calculated by PharmCAS will be awarded. Eligible students may only receive the Pharmacy Innovation Scholarship or the Presidential Scholarship; not both.
  • Continuing Eligibility: Must maintain annual College of Pharmacy cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better.  If the annual cumulative GPA dops below 3.25, this scholarship will not be renewed.
