Biography

Raghad Almalky is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer and educator with over a decade of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound. She currentlyserves as Adjunct Faculty in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Touro University California, where she teaches Ultrasound Physics I and Lab andUltrasound Physics II.

Prior to joining Touro University California in 2025, she served as a Clinical Education Leader at Credit Valley Hospital in Ontario, Canada. In this role, she mentored sonography students from McMaster University and Mohawk College, providing structured clinical instruction, competency-based evaluation, and individualized coaching aligned with Sonography Canada clinical competencies.

Almalky earned her Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences in Ultrasonography from McMaster University through the McMaster-Mohawk collaborative Medical Radiation Sciences program and holds multiple credentials through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Her clinical experience includes abdominal, obstetric and gynecologic, and breast ultrasound, as well as sonographic guidance during ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.

She is currently pursuing a Professional Master of Education at Queen’s University, where she has completed graduate coursework in knowledge mobilization, educational leadership, innovative curriculum design, and teaching for creative and connected learning.

Her academic interests include sonography education, curriculum development in medical imaging programs, and the integration of clinical experience with foundational ultrasound physics.
