Touro University California alumni this summer selected 12 of their own to revitalize the Alumni Association Board of Directors after a COVID-era hiatus.

Touro University California had a strong presence during the American Osteopathic Association's (AOA) Osteopathic Medical Education Conference Oct. 6-8 in Orlando, Florida.

An Open House this fall for Touro’s Graduate School of Education featured a significant alumni component, with the formal presentation shining the spotlight on several program graduates, including 10 who earned Teachers of the Year honors in their respective school districts.

Alumnae from the Touro University California School of Nursing came home to campus this fall to extend honors to those joining Sigma's local chapter and later to socialize with one another and with current faculty and students of the Nursing Program.

The Omega Alpha Chapter of Sigma hosted its Fall Mixer on the Touro University California campus on Oct. 26, drawing several School of Nursing Alumni, program faculty members and current students to the Farragut Inn Ballroom for networking and a poster presentation.

Alumni from the College of Pharmacy are taking every chance available to come together to network and reminisce, joining three times across three months at points both near and far from the Touro University California campus.

The Vallejo community came together Nov. 10 at Touro University California to mark Veterans Day a day early, bringing community and campus leaders together with a message that was at once somber but also filled with hope for a brighter future.

Dr. Steven Jacobson is Vice Provost and Dean of Student Affairs at Touro University California. He began his tenure at Touro University California in 2019 with more than 27 years of experience in student affairs. Jacobson previously worked in student affairs at Stockton's University of the Pacific and had leadership roles in university housing at the Pennsylvania College of Technology and Plymouth State University. Jacobson received his doctorate in education from University of the Pacific, his master's in education at Plymouth State University and his bachelor's degree in English from Washington State University.

Lisa Thomas is a member of the faculty for the MSPAS/MPH program at Touro University California and a 2017 graduate of the program. She currently serves as the program's Northern California Clinical Rotation Recruitment Coordinator.

Kaitlyn E. Riley is a Physician Assistant with the Solano County Family Health Services in Fairfield and a graduate of the dual Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies/Master of Public Health program at Touro University California (Class of 2022). She took part in a question-and-answer exchange with Dr. Joy Moverley, director of the program here at Touro.
